Please take note of the various points below before you receive your laptop if you are truly interested in the “ONE TEACHER ONE LAPTOP”.

Distribution of TM1 is only allowed using TM1 Admin Mobile app or *790*555*10#. The app and USSD is the platform for validating collection code received by the teacher who is to receive the laptop. The USSD is to be used when there is no internet.

The TM1 Admin is only available to District IT Coordinators and KAT Champions to facilitate the laptop distribution and activation. Kindly follow these steps to set up your TM1 Admin App when you receive SMS and APK

1. Download the APK (this is shared via whatsapp)

2. Open the Mobile App and login using your email or mobile number

3. Start the distribution and activation

STEPS FOR DISTRIBUTION

1. Ask the receiving Teacher for Collection Code and Acceptable National ID Card

2. Verify the collection code using the TM1 Admin App or *790^555*10# by selecting Collect laptop

3. Input Teacher’s Staff ID Teachers Need To Know This Before They Receive the ONE TEACHER ONE LAPTOP

4. Confirm the name of teacher displayed on the app or USSD with the physical ID card provided. The School Head shall also validate the Teacher’s identity

5. Input Collection Code

7. Take a picture of the Teacher’s Physical ID using the App. This is not available on the USSD

8. App will display the Teacher’s Full details including Name, Staff ID and Collection Code

9. Click Okay if details is correct

11. Teacher will received an SMS on successful collection

12. The Teacher will complete and sign on the printed laptop collection sheet

13. Teacher should then be handed the laptop.

Further STEPS as KAT Champions

14. Sell laptop Bag at GHS50 and Device Insurance at GHS100 per annum

15. Payment is strictly via Mobile Money – you can facilitate payment by asking the teacher to dial and pay using *790*555#

16. Confirm payment success or failure on a portal link that will be shared with you. You can liaise with our regional lead and your assist for any issue resolution

17. Payment must be confirmed before bag is released.

Teachers be asked to bring along and submit a clear physical photocopy of ID card where there is no internet since distribution is done via USSD. The collection code should be written on such copy.

The colour of the laptop in the box is displayed as the image of grey or black laptop on the box.

Reconcile all inventory intermittently in the course of distribution and ensure safety and completeness of inventory.
