The Ghana Education Service (GES) announced to all teachers across the country of its decision to train all educators in accordance with the one-teacher, one-laptop plan through a letter that was dated April 18, 2023 and signed by Stephen Kwaku Owusu, Deputy Director-General (Ms) For: Director-General. The letter was sent out to all teachers by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

In order for all instructors to be able to make use of the numerous e-learning resources that have been made accessible on the laptops, they are all needed to participate in some fundamental information and communication technology training as part of the One-Teacher, One-Laptop project.
After the successful distribution of TM1 laptops to Kindergarten and Primary teachers in the Upper East, North East, and Savannah regions, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and KA Technologies have made the following announcement: on April 25, 2023, all teachers at the Primary and KG level will begin receiving ICT Skills Acquisition training.

KAT Champions, who are District ICT Coordinators who have been trained by KAT, will be in charge of leading the training. During the planning phase, KAT Champions are required to work together with their District Directors and School Heads. GES Nationwide ICT Training For All Teachers-CHECK NOW
After the training has been completed, participants are obligated to sign up for a KATON account so that they can gain access to an attestation as proof of attendance and upload it before to sitting the exam. Teachers who express interest in taking part in the online training module provided by KA Technologies will receive a link to the course.
Teachers who finish the course with flying colors and pass its accompanying evaluation will be awarded a participation certificate and points toward their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) totals. GES Nationwide ICT Training For All Teachers-CHECK NOW
Those Individuals Who Already Have Their Own Laptops
Take note that in addition to the regions stated above, all districts outside of those regions that have received complete supplies for kindergarten and primary school teachers are also to begin their training. In order to provide support and oversight, KA Technologies requires that all of the training schedules of the District ICT Coordinators be shared with them. The certificate is offered at no cost to the recipient.
