All Nurses and Midwives who passed the licensing examinations organised by the Nursing and Midwifery Council are to undertake their one- year mandatory Rotation/National Service National Service. National Service For Nurses And Midwives-2024/2025
The National Service Scheme (NSS) posting is anticipated to be out soon. In view of this, all candidates who were successful in the Basic Licensing Examination held by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) for the period November/December, 2023 and have registered with the Council to undertake their one- year mandatory Rotation/National Service, are to present the under listed documents at the NSS office for validation before they can be allowed to move to the next stage of the National Service process.
The Documents are;
1. Proof of payment for registration (GCR receipt issued by the N&MC)
2. N&MC Rotation Log Book
3. Valid National ID Card
NOTE: Only candidates who have registered with the Council and have been duly validated with the above documents will have access to complete the NSS registration process. National Service For Nurses And Midwives-2024/2025

FOLLOW THE STEP BELOW AFTER NSS PLACEMENT HAVE BEEN RELEASED.
THESE ARE THE STEPS YOU MUST FOLLOW:
1️⃣ PRINT THE APPOINTMENT LETTER ON YOUR DASHBOARD AND SUBMIT IT TO THE HOSPITAL YOU WILL BE PLACED.
2️⃣ THE HOSPITAL HR/DDNS WILL ENDORSE IT FOR YOU. TO SHOW YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED.
3️⃣ YOU WILL TAKE THE ENDORSE LETTER TO THE REGIONAL NSS OFFICE.
NOTE: IT’S THE REGION WHERE THE HOSPITAL IS LOCATED.
GOING FORWARD I WILL LIST ALL THE DIRECTIONS TO THE VARIOUS OFFICES IN THIS PAGE.
4️⃣ AT THE NSS OFFICE, YOUR BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE FOR YOU, AFTER THE BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION.
5️⃣ THE REGIONAL NSS OFFICE WILL ISSUE THREE (3) APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO YOU.
♦️ You must take one back to the Hospital
♦️ Send the second one to the District NSS OFFICE
♦️ You will keep the 3rd appointment letter
ON THE APPOINTMENT LETTER NSS WILL GIVE YOU THE EXACT TIME TO START THE SERVICE.
