Applications for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Local Scholarships (Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Degree, and Masters Degree Programmes) are currently being accepted by the GETFund Scholarship 2023/2024 for the current academic year. Scholarship applications for the GETFund Scholarship 2023/2024 are now being accepted from qualified students who are enrolled in any of Ghana’s public tertiary institutions and may be studying either undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.
Applications for the GETFund Scholarship, which is available to students enrolled in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, are presently being accepted for the current academic year. Starting on Thursday, December 8th, applications will be accepted until Tuesday, January 31st. This is the effective opening date.
About GETFund Scholarship
Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is a government project that provides financial support to Ghanaian students who choose to pursue higher education at either the undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral level, either by studying locally or abroad. To provide the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat with additional resources to assist students, the Ghana Education and Training Fund (GETFund) was founded by a statute passed by Parliament.
GETFund Postgraduate Scholarship Application Requirements
All applicants are required to complete their application form via the GETFund Scholarship Portal
• Application letter (Declaring intents, which must include their contact details)
• Proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport / Copy National ID Card/Copy of Birth Certificate)
• Scanned copy of admission letter clearly stating the program duration in it
• Scanned copy of approved Fee Schedule (2022/23 Academic Year) – if not stated in the letter of admission
• Scanned copy of 1st degree certificate (Master’s and PhD applicants)
• Scanned copy of other degree certificate (PhD applicants only)
• Scanned copy of previous transcript (Master’s and PhD applicants only)
• Scanned copy of National Service Certificate where applicable (Master’s and PhD applicants only)
• Copy of Curriculum Vitae (Master’s and PhD applicants only).
How To Apply For Postgraduate GETFund Scholarship
1. First visit the GETFund Scholarship for Postgraduate Application Portal to SignUp here: GETfund Scholarship Application Portal
2. After signup login. GETFund Scholarship: Postgraduate Application Forms 2024
3. Then enter the username and password you used to SignUp in order to login
4. Afterwards fill the GETfund Scholarship Application Form Online
5. Finally Submit your application
GETFund Scholarship Application Deadline
• The effective opening date for the GETFund Undergraduate Scholarship applications is Thursday, 8th December and closing date for applications is Tuesday, 31st January.
